  • Operators (China-Shanghai, Philippines-Calamba/Laguna and Taiwan-Taipei)

    Our press operators run and maintain multiple Advantek machines, keep accurate records, and follow all procedures pertaining to press operation to ensure that we uphold Advantek’s mission statement, “Committed to providing packaging solution with superior customer value”.

    Responsibility

    • Operate multiple Advantek machines according to the established procedures and work instructions of the pertinent operation, producing quality work set by the department in compliance with the quality goals of the organization.
    • Ensure a safe environment by reporting all safety related issues to immediate superior.
    • Maintain 5S’s, utilizing the end rolls, and ensuring the efficient and safe maintenance of the work area.
    • Participate in collegial planning for policies, procedures and systems, problem solving and performance monitoring through participation in standing and ad hoc committees, task forces and project teams.

    Qualifications

    • Education:
      • Philippines: Earned at least 72 units (Tertiary Level)
      • Taiwan: Senior High School diploma or higher
      • China: High School diploma or higher
    • At least one year manufacturing industry experience in an operator capacity.
    • Strong organizational skills to keep up with the demand of running multiple presses; good teamwork and communications skills are required to ensure a cheerful environment.
    • Basic math skills are helpful for ensuring correct order quantities.
    • Must possess the ability to be on their feet for the duration of their shift. Operators must be able to lift up to 20 lbs regularly, and up to 40 lbs occasionally.

  • Development Engineer (Eau Claire, Wisconsin - USA)

    The Development Engineer will manage and guide new development projects from idea creation to high volume manufacturing.  To include new materials for use in existing products, variations of existing products and modification of existing manufacturing processes or development of new processes.  Products and processes could be for both new and existing markets with internal and external qualification and transfer to other production sites.

    Responsibility

    • Lead development projects from start to finish
    • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and across multiple global sites
    • Interaction with the sales and marketing group will be substantial
    • Direct interaction with strategic customers will be required

    Qualifications

    • 4 year engineering degree required
    • Preferably with 3-7 years process, manufacturing or development engineering experience
    • Experience in thermoforming and related processes is highly preferred
    • Must be ambitious, goal oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Engineering Support Technician (Eau Claire, Wisconsin - USA)

    The Engineering Support Technician will support members of the engineering team by running tests and trials as well as taking measurements and collecting data as instructed by the engineers.  They must have the ability to follow technical directions, prioritize projects and interpret data.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma and 2+ years’ experience in a technical manufacturing environment required
    • Experience with operating precision measurement equipment preferred

  • Process Engineer (Eau Claire, Wisconsin - USA)

    The Process Engineer will be responsible in providing production, machine shop and customer support, developing and implementing new processes and procedures to support transition from new product development projects to high volume manufacturing.  They will also be responsible for the identification and definition of continuous improvement areas/projects using 6 Sigma, Stage Gate, and Lean methodologies.

    Qualifications

    • 4 year engineering degree or equivalent required
    • Preferably with 3 years process or manufacturing engineering experience
    • Demonstrated project management skills/experience a plus
