Advantek Volunteers Plant for a Greener Laguna

Planting a tree takes only a few minutes. Restoring a watershed, however, requires shared and sustained effort. 

In the Philippines, Advantek volunteers contributed to that effort during the Laguna Lake Development Authority’s Arbor Day celebration in San Pablo City. Working alongside volunteers from other companies, the team planted seedlings along a riverbank near Palakpakin Lake. 

Volunteers cleared planting areas, dug holes, positioned each seedling, and secured the young trees with stakes. Over time, these trees can help protect the soil, restore tree cover, and support the Laguna Lake watershed. 

The activity showed what environmental stewardship looks like in practice: people working together to care for the natural resources they share. By supporting local conservation efforts, Advantek is putting its sustainability commitments into action, one seedling at a time. It is another way Advantek is Carrying Tomorrow.
