Advantek’s LOKREEL® Eco component packaging reels are ideal for shipment and storage of any component packaged in carrier tape. These reels are made from a HIPS regrind material that offers a high level of quality at a reduced price.

Configurations

Advantek LOKREEL® Eco reels have an outside diameter of 13” (330mm) and a 1/2” (13mm) diameter arbor hole. Reel halves are available in a variety of hub diameters and hub widths. Available hub diameters include the standard 4” (102mm) hub suitable for most carrier tapes and the 7” (178mm) hub designed to protect devices contained in deep-pocket and narrow-pitch carrier tapes. Hub widths include 4mm, 8mm, 16mm and 28mm. The table below demonstrates LOKREEL® Eco half combinations and the reel widths they produce.

Shelf Life and Storage

We recommend that Advantek type LOKREEL® Ecos be used within two years of the date of manufacture. Store this product in its original packaging in a climate-controlled environment where temperature ranges from 21° C +/- 17°C (70°F +/- 30°F). Allow the product to stabilize at room temperature prior to use. The mechanical integrity of the product is not affected by humidity.
