Carrier Tape > Homogenous PS+C Type K, L & O

Advantek’s PS+C (polystyrene plus carbon) carrier tape is an alternative to the tri-laminated formulations. The specially modifi ed static dissipative polystyrene offers suffi cient strength and stability over time and temperature variations for limited range of tape designs. It is available in a variety of thicknesses, enabling the appropriate selection for your application.

 

Shelf Life and Storage

We recommend that Advantek PS+C carrier tapes be used within 5 years from the date of manufacture. Store this product in its original packaging in a climatecontrolled environment where temperature ranges from 21°C +/- 17°C (70°F +/- 30°F). This product is not affected by humidity. Allow the product to stabilize at room temperature prior to use.

 

Camber

The Advantek Homogeneous PS+C series meets the EIA-481-D standard for camber that is not greater than 1mm in 250 linear milimeters. For 8mm to 24mm carrier tape in the level wind format, the camber will not be greater than 2mm in 250 linear millimeters.
