The Company has been actively investing to better address the fast changing semiconductor industry. With RFH’s acquisition in January of Accutech Plastics in Eau Claire, Wisconsin Advantek expanded its manufacturing footprint back into North America. The acquisition also provided an immediate entry into the LED, ‘wafer level die’, and passives markets through and offering of high precision micro pockets. Jay Longbottom, CEO of RFH stated, “Advantek is uniquely positioned to serve the semiconductor industry with its multiple manufacturing sites, considerable capacity, and high quality products. Robert Family Holdings believes in the high growth potential of Advantek and the semiconductor market and will continue to invest in this business.” Michael Miller added, “We see very high growth segments of the industry such as LED. But we also see the continuing miniaturization of parts as an industry challenge where Advantek can apply its engineered solutions. Advantek wants to be the most advanced supplier as well as continue to provide the best value products in the market. It is fantastic that RFH stands firmly with Advantek in achieving these goals.”
