Cover tape is applied over carrier tape, sealing the devices in the pockets. Cover Tape adhesive can be heat-activated or pressure-sensitive. Depending on the nature of the device being packaged, an anti-static cover tape may be needed to complete ESD protection. Cover tape is available in both the Premium and E-Series.
